March  2013 / 17 2 Comments

Need to merge/combine two images at once? In this Basic Photoshop tutorial, we’re going to learn how to merge/combine two images at once.

Combined merged image

Firstly, Open both images in Photoshop, then

  • Select the first image, and click Image > Canvas size – [first image]
  • Where it says the width in cm, change the cm in the dropdown to pixel – [first image]
  • Write down the width and height of the first file in pixels
  • Again, Select the second image, and click Image > Canvas size – [Second image]
  • Where it says the width in cm, change the cm in the dropdown to pixel- [Second image]

Now, Go to ^File > ^New and create a new image that’s large enough to accommodate the width or height of your two images stitched together

  • Select your first image, press CTRL+A to highlight it, then press CTRL+C to copy it -  [first image]
  • Select the new empty file and press CTRL+V to paste your first image and position it -  [first image]
  • In this new file, press CTRL+SHIFT+N to create a second layer and click OK
  • Select your first image, press CTRL+A to highlight it, then press CTRL+C to copy it -  [second image]
  • Select the new empty file and press CTRL+V to paste your first image -  [second image]

Hope, you complete the process and like it. Please feel free to interrupt me if you have questions.
